Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a hand car wash take?
About 20 minutes for the Standard and Super Wash, and about 25 minutes for the Ultimate Wash, counted from when your car is in the wash bay. Any wait in line before that is extra. Every car is washed and dried by hand.
Do I need an appointment?
Not for washes. Just drive in, walk-ins are welcome every day. Detailing is by appointment, with drop-off at 8 am or 12 pm.
Do I need an appointment for a Hand Wax?
No. A Hand Wax (includes a Super Wash) is walk-in, no appointment needed. It starts at $69 for cars; SUVs, minivans and large trucks are priced higher. It takes longer than a regular wash, so plan a little extra time.
What's included in the $22 Standard Wash?
A 100% hand wash, wheels and tires, spray-on sealer wax, towel dry, windows inside and out, interior vacuum, a wipe-down of the seats, dash, console and door jambs, rubber mats washed and carpet mats vacuumed. SUVs and minivans are $28, large trucks $32.
Is a hand wash safe for my paint, ceramic coating or EV?
Yes. No brushes ever touch your car. We wash by hand with a fresh mitt and dry with clean microfiber, which is safe for dark paint, ceramic coatings, matte wraps, and EV cameras and sensors.
Do you charge extra for very dirty cars?
Yes. For car washes, extra-dirty vehicles may require an additional charge. We inspect the car first and quote the price before we start. For detailing, extra-dirty vehicles (heavy pet hair, sand, mud or heavy stains) are +$25 to $75. Mold, smoke odor or biohazard cleanup is quoted separately. Either way, you get the exact price before we begin.
When can I pick up my car after detailing?
The same afternoon. Drop off at 8 am or 12 pm and we text you when it's ready.
How do I pay?
Pay at the shop when you pick up your car. No payment is needed to book a detail.
